NEWS: TV series highlights how GOSH is helping seriously ill children

Over the past few weeks, viewers have been able to see the brand-new series, Paul O’Grady’s Little Heroes, that follows the lives of some of the 618 amazing children and their families who walk through the doors of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) every day.

The series provides a unique insight in to one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, and the lives of the brave and resilient children who are treated every day. Viewers will also have the opportunity to get to know the dedicated staff who care for and treat children who have some of the most serious and complex conditions.

Each episode, Paul O’Grady meets a number of children from all corners of the UK, and learns about their journey through their specialist treatment.

Appco UK has been providing fundraising services for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) for several years, creating face-to-face campaigns and working with business partners who contract fundraisers to sign up long-term donors for the charity.

Client relationship manager Casey Gaddess says the TV series is a hugely positive step for the charity as it gives the public a chance to see what makes the hospital so special. “Appco UK has been working with GOSHCC for a long time now so we’re very aware of the amazing work going on there, but this gives the public direct insight into massive difference they make to the children who need their help and their families.”

Tune in to see the next episode tonight on ITV at 8pm.
